These four documents below will give you the background and form necessary to nominate a person to join the board of Deafness Forum Australia.
Quick eligibility check
- Nominations close at close of business on 17 October 2024 in your state/territory.
- The person is nominated by one of Deafness Forum Australia’s current Member Organisations.
- The person being nominated is a:
- hearing impaired person who is not an Auslan user
- Auslan-using Deaf person
- person who has a chronic disorder of the ear
- parent or guardian of a person who is Hearing Impaired or Deaf or has a chronic disorder of the ear
- person who is deafblind
- service provider – this broad category covers people who are, for example, teachers of deaf or hard-of-hearing people, researchers, clinicians, and leaders of programs and businesses that aim to improve the lives of our constituents.
